Boy. George.

I was recently asked to make a piggy bank for a baby boy named George.  That's it.  No other instructions.  I wasn't quite sure how to proceed without so much as a color scheme to go by...are George's parents big on "blue is for boys," or are they a little more earthy, preferring greens and browns?  Are they traditional?  Modern?  Geeks?  This was a tough one!  Finally, I came up with the idea of "G is for George," and put a bunch of things that start with the letter "G" on the piggy.  A big thanks to my helpful assistant, Brynn, who came up with most of the G-words (including "grandma," which didn't make the cut).  See?  Learning can be Fancy!  Check it out:

Can you spot the "G" here?  Grass on his piggy feet, of course!

Medium piggy banks like George's can be purchased for $15, while large piggies are available for $25.  Teachers receive 20% off their entire order through the month of September...just tell me where you teach and why you love your job when placing your order!  Email me at karen.psimas@yahoo.com or message me on Facebook for ordering and info.

  1. It came out great! Sorry I didn't get back to you about this. I looked her up on Babies R Us and she had no theme. So I think this will definitely work! Well done Fancy Psimas'! Miss you! xoxox
