Project 52: Week 31

While it really was nice to get away for a while, man it felt good to come home!  Granted, feeling 100% good about being home took about 24 hours...the a/c somehow got fried while we were away, so we spent the first night home in a house that was 91 degrees!  The lollipop queen also must have wanted to make sure the ants had plenty to eat while we were gone, so she left a half-eaten Dum Dum on the playroom floor for them before we left.  For a week.  F-ANT-astic!

Regardless, the girls did wonderfully, given the 1600 DVD-free miles they spent in the car and six nights spent away from home.  Here's a few pics from each of our stops:

1st stop, Brooklyn!
 "Da-ee-puh-puh book"  (translation:  caterpillar book)

Fun times in Vanderbilt Park...glad we suited up!

Jam session

Next stop, Cape Cod!
Pretty amazing sunset views from our campsite

Emelia and Camryn...buddies or Irish twins?

(Left to right - me, Kevin, Brynn) Reliving one of my favorite childhood pastimes at Peters Pond Park...minus the jumping off part!

Next stop, Lancaster, PA!
Christmas in July at the Horbal/Frederick home

Trimming the tree

The girls didn't take too long to get back into their regular routine, so who knows what adventures lay ahead for the Psimases!  Wally World?  Big Ben?  Parliament?
